Truffle Futomaki
Absolutely phenomenal! The Truffle Futomaki at Virago is a must-try for any sushi lover. The roll is a perfect blend of rich flavors, with the earthy truffle adding a luxurious twist to the fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each bite is a symphony of taste and texture that leaves you craving more. The presentation is also top-notch, showcasing the artistry and attention to detail that goes into every dish at Virago. This is, without a doubt, one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. Highly recommend!
Dynamite
My friends and I dine at virago at least 4-5 times a month. The dynamite roll is consistently ordered by each of us every time, among other things. The dynamite roll is amazing yet fairly simple if you don't like getting crazy with your sushi. We've been ordering this same roll for at least 2 years now
Yuzu Crab Tacos
wonderful tacos, pleasant atmosphere and different drinks with an explosion of flavors.
Super Crunch
This roll was so perfect. I am usually a very simple girl when it comes to sushi. Sticking to California rolls and any shrimp rolls. I branched out the other night and tried the super crunch which has salmon and was not disappointed. It was not overpowering and added just the perfect touch. Highly recommend!
A5 Tenderloin - Virago
We tried A5 stone steak. Highly recommended! Teh presentation, stone cooking process and flavor were amazing!
Truffle Futomaki
The Truffle Futomaki is unbelievable. It is truly a flavor explosion in your mouth. It is one of the most creative sushi rolls I have ever had. You won't regret this dish!
Volcano
The best sushi EVER. Not only is the food delicious, the service was incredible, and the ambiance of the restaurant is like no other. I'm always on the search for fancy dining experiences, but rarely do I find one I love. Virago was a breath of fresh air!
Kayne Prime
Best roll I've ever had. Steak and lobster were perfect. Was hesitant about asparagus but most perfect crunch. Was totally WOWed by this meal
New Moon
I have been to every sushi place in Nashville searching for the kind of sushi I used to have in Knoxville at Nama with my girlfriends every week. I came to Virago late on a Maki-Sake Monday with one of my girlfriends and we sat at the bar. We enjoyed the New Moon sushi so much that we each ordered a second of just that roll (even though we had another roll alongside the initial New Moon). The Yuzu Sour paired perfectly and we had the best time. The bartender was also awesome and gave great selection choices. Virago has better sushi than anywhere I've been including my college sushi place back home!
